These were all actually astoundingly good ideas, Neal thought. Sure, he didn't actually have anyone special on the island who he would want to gift with gold and jewels, but he could imagine it. Besides, in a place that ran itself mostly on the barter system, having fancy gold things would make for excellent trades.
